Large and voluminous books have always been alluring because of their sequential portrayal of in-depth details required to build up the concept.
However, these books are hard to memorize and tedious to run through especially closer to examinations. In addition, these are not too handy to become an all-time companion.
In this book, handy, easily-readable, simplified and schematic ?Templates? have been compiled to address such difficulties.
This book is not intended to be an exhaustive work. Neither is it meant to be a treatise on clinical methods. Its aim is to simply aid in quick learning of a concise, precise and fluent approach to take history and perform clinical examination of some of the common surgical problems. Therefore, for detailed understanding of the background knowledge of the subject, the readers are advised to take help of a teacher or a textbook.
It is hoped that this effort will benefit the postgraduate trainees, the undergraduate students and the house officers alike.
Furthermore, it aims to be an aid not only in passing the examinations but also in improving the care of the centre of medical universe ?the patients!
